In words as you best can, please describe Trevor Mbakwe's play last night.

I will start, top this if you can:

"...Yea, though I walk through valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

Because I am the meanest son of a bitch in the valley."..

Why? Did you pass out before the game again and need an update? :drink:

Nice try, tiny, but I was rooting, cheering, drinking, smoking, eating pizza and enjoying. I just came back to earth this afternoon, just in time to change my Depends.

Trevor looked like an NBA player out there last night. The look on his face of determination never left once throughout the game, and his desire to carry his team to victory was clearly there last night. The best play was his block on Cody Zeller. That was probably the most malicious block I have ever seen, two-handed style! His opening dunk was also vicious, and the way he was determined to go after every loose ball and grab every rebound shows that he is the old Mbakwe, but better than ever. He will remain the Gophers X-Factor leading into the tournament. If he plays well, the team will go far. Trevor showed that he is the one to emerge as the leader of this team. The Gophers now have a player with an identity known as an "assassin."

Agree with everything you said I just hope you are right that this game signals the return of the Mbakwe we all expected to see this year and that he will play with that same fire from now until this team is done playing some time in late March or April. This can't be a one time thing he needs to put this team on his back and be the leader. If he does that this team has a shot to do some big things but we can't forget that this is still the same team that has played like crap for a large majority of the Big Ten season to this point. Really hope the Indiana game was the start of a trend and not a mirage.
