Denver Post: Eric Decker having big impact with Broncos as kick returner, receiver

From what I've read, Broncos fans love him. I've seen some saying he should be their #1. Good for Eric.

Congrats to decker! IMO, I bet we read similar things about McKnight in the NFL next year too.

With Brandon Lloyd likely out this week, Decker should see a lot more action.

this is the wrong thread for this, but i'm curious about both mcknight and stoudermire's nfl future - i think they both have a shot to be picked fairly early.

as for decker, he's probably my favourite gopher ever - complete class and a complete stud. personally, i think he'd make a much more realistic captain america than chris evans.

I don't think McKnight is anywhere near Decker's ability level. McKnight is a solid college WR, but I don't think he'll do much in the NFL. Look at Ron Johnson - 2nd all time Gophers receiving yards - much more accomplished receiver than McKnight, and he only got a cup of coffee in the NFL.

what ron johnson may or may not have accomplished as an nfl player has absolutely no bearing on mcknight. mcknight is still raw as a football player from lack of reps but has some serious bounce to him.

McKnight has a lot more physical tools than Johnson. The only thing that Johnson could do was catch anything thrown within three yards of him.

Decker was better than both.
