In the Alaska State large school football championship (it's going to snow there soon) West Anchorage beat Anchorage Service 6-0, extra point blocked. West held Service star RB McCrae to 'only' 123 yds on 22 carries, maybe that doesn't sound like 'holding him' but he was averaging nearly 300 yds per game during the season. On the other hand, in the small school championship, Soldotna beat Kenai 77-42, where there was seemingly no defense, yet someone won anyway.
