I don't know if this has been discussed, but Eric's foot injury is bad enough that he won't be able to run until June. I feel terrible for the kid as this will be a huge blow to his draft stock. The absolute ceiling for him without being able to work out for scouts (or likely participate in minicamps after the draft) is the 3rd round. My guess is that Eric probably will not be drafted until the 4th or 5th round which is really too bad. He can still have a great career, but I hate that a guy who gave so much to the U will miss out on a significant amount of money due to his injury. I hope Eric Decker becomes a good pro receiver as successful NFL alumni is not just great for the individual but great for the program as well.

If he is still there at the end of the 3rd or 4th rounds, the Vikings would be absolute fools to pass on him. He'd be great for them. Hometown kid who could help them.
(I admit I don't know if the Vikings even have a 3rd or 4th round pick)
