-- Get to know Northern Colorado graduate guard Quinn Denker before March hits us. Denker scored a career-high 33 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and added 8 assists in UNC's win at in-state rival Colorado. The Bears (10-3, #117 NET) had not beaten the Buffs since 1936. Some of you may remember the Bears as the victims of St. Thomas guard Nolan Minessale's beyond half-court buzzer-beater earlier this season.
-- The St. Thomas nation-best home-court winning streak now sits at 25, two games ahead of Duke and three ahead of MAC schools Akron and Miami-Ohio.

Deep Thoughts, by Buzz Studley
At the (roughly) midway point of the regular season (non-conference play nearly complete), I'd guess there will be three conferences outside the Power 5 to receive multiple NCAA Tournament bids. They likely will come from this group: American, Atlantic 10, Mountain West, and WCC.
The WCC is the only virtual sure thing. The potential bubble-impacting teams from these conferences (if they don't earn an automatic bid) are Tulsa (American), Saint Louis (A-10), and Utah State (Mountain West).
