This photo of Kansas junior PG Naadir Tharpe has been floating around. (We first got sent it on Saturday, and were told that it had already been circulating "for days.") KU coach Bill Self has seen it too, and he's not pleased.

Speaking at a press conference announcing Andrew Wiggins will leave for the NBA draft, Self was asked about the Tharpe photo.

I remember we were going after Tharpe pretty hard. At the time i didn't follow recruiting very closely and Sid's column was the only time i read about it. I actually got the impression that Ahamnisi was a better PG recruit then Tharpe. Never realized he was a top 100 guy and Mav was just a 2 star. Oh Sid.

Self's only real disappointment is that he's not the one who is with her in the photo. He could care less as long as the kid can put the ball in the hoop because that is what keeps the ATM working.

Being Naadir Tharpe doesn't suck
 

Hopefully for Tharpe's sake, her father doesn't see that. Because he'll be dead meat.

Tharpe is actually a big part of the Achilles Heel for Kansas the past couple of years. Their PG play each of the past couple of years has been their most obvious weakness, although this past season after they lost Embiid they started leaking oil from a lot of places.
 

The only reason Self is disappointed by this is because he now has to answer questions about it.
 

She will be suing for child support in nine months.
 



Surprised you don't read more about these things the way the kids post everything that happens on line.
 

She's a groupie/hooker with fake t!tt!es. I'm guessing her dad is a deadbeat drunk A-hole who probably wouldn't recognize her because she ran away from home 12 years ago to escape her pedo dad. And even if he did recognize her, couldn't care less because he didn't value her as a person to begin with. Just an observation.
 

Kansas landed three new commitments since this photo was released.
