Watching the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl and noticed that David Gibbs, the "Little Buckaroo", who was one of Glen Mason's Defensive coordinator is the Defensive Coordinator for Texas Tech.

I did not know that, thanks for posting. It is interesting the amount of former top athletes who have sons who play other sports at a high level. Torii Hunter, David Robinson, and Darryl Strawberry are a few that come to mind. I know there are many more.

Yeah, Mason's best defenses were under Gibbs, including the '99 squad. I believe this is Gibbs' first year at TT. Loved watching Gibbs on the Gopher sideline, so animated. Watching the TT game, that hasn't changed.
