A couple of coaches that were part of the 1999 staff have gone on to be head coaches. I have always been surprised that Gibbs has not, aside from being the interim head coach for Houston in their bowl game this year.

I ran into him when I was going through Bomar County. I asked him about his deDense and he said something about cat figurines and bummers. It was pretty indecipherable but I think he said something about running a 5 linebacker formation down there in Texas. He wasn't making too much sense but I thought I heard something about squid? Or hiring Bernard Fuddle or something.
