A guy I know tweets about it with the the hashtag #DaveLeeQuotes.
It's not just the inane comments. It's that Lee goes into every game with 2 or three talking points, and just repeats them over and over and over and over......
It is truly sad that the State Tournament settles for a "name" who is just not a good P-by-P announcer. Instead of using the opportunity to promote HS basketball, they get an unintentional comedy routine.
and then they exacerbate the situation by getting "color" people who add nothing to the game. "Boy, they're playing well" is not analysis. tell us what team A is doing on offense or defense that is making them successful.
I've taken to watching the games with the sound off, and getting stats off the internet.

I listen to the Dave Lee sputtering but it helps that these games have been great.

Lee retires from ccblow in a couple days. I still can’t decide who is worse Rosen, Mike max, Dave Lee or joe Schmidt. Not a one of them has an ounce of talent yet here we are with 30 yr careers.
