No, it wasn’t the trip to Pasadena that Minnesota might’ve wished at the start of the season. Yes, it reached the postseason on the back of a formality. Sure, many pundits criticized the program for accepting the mid-level bowl invitation in the first place.
Claeys, however, was unapologetic after the game, and that’s exactly the way he should’ve reacted.
