•Prior to his time with the Cougars, he was on the staff at Texas Tech from 2000 through 2007.
•In his two years at Houston, Holgorsen and the Cougars put up explosive offensive numbers. Under his direction, UH ended the 2009 season as the national leader in total offense with 563 yards per game, scoring offense with 42.2 points per game, and passing offense with 433.7 yards per game.
•His first year in Houston saw the Cougars rank second in the nation in passing offense (401.62 yards per game) and total offense (562.77 yards per game). UH scored 40.62 points per game to rank 10th nationally.

•Keenum ranked among the nation's top-10 passing efficiency leaders each of his two seasons under Holgorsen's watch.
•During his stay in Lubbock, his various titles included inside receivers coach, co-offensive coordinator, and eventually offensive coordinator (2005 through 2007) and quarterbacks coach. Over that period of time, the Red Raiders increased their offensive numbers from 324.8 yards per game to 529.6 yards per game.
•With Holgorsen serving as offensive coordinator in 2007, Texas Tech led the nation in passing offense (470.31 yards per game), ranked second nationally in total offense (529.62 yards per game) and was seventh nationally in scoring offense (40.92 points per game). Quarterback Graham Harrell led the nation in total offense and receiver Michael Crabtree led the nation in receptions per game and receiving yards per game. Crabtree won the Biletnikoff Award as America's top receiver in 2007.
•In 2006, the Red Raiders ranked third nationally in passing offense and sixth in total offense. Harrell was third nationally in total offense with 344.38 yards per game.

•A native of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa who played at Iowa Wesleyan, Holgorsen has been in the coaching ranks since 1993. His other career stops have included Valdosta State, Mississippi College and Wingate."
My addendum to his OSU bio:
-Hal Mumme and Mike Leach was his HC and OC at Iowa Wesleyan; they were also the HC and OC when he coached QB/WR at Valdosta St.
-Oklahoma State returned just four starters on an offense that finished #70 in total offense the previous year; with such heavy losses, Phil Steele's CPU projected OSU to average 335 YPG/24.3 PPG on offense and to finish with a losing record; OSU is 5-0, offense is ranked #4 in total yards (526.20) and #2 in scoring offense (52.60)
