Damian Johnson: I feel that was one of the biggest changes in the program. I felt like more fans took pride in cheering for us and it translated on the court because it made us play harder. It was always disappointing playing a road game at home every time we played Wisconsin, especially since I can’t stand how dumb, obnoxious, and arrogant their fans are.

From The Barn: What was the highlight of your Gopher career?

Damian Johnson: The highlight of my career maybe my life thus far is beating Wisconsin at Wisconsin. I watch that game all the time til this day. I hate Wisconsin. Lol.

Absolutely love his choice of favorite game. I woulda picked that one for him if he hadn't. Its good to know the players hate Wisconsin every bit as much as the fans!

Runner up: his last game where teh Gophs completely demolished Iowa by 35, and where he nearly had a triple-double, and added on 3 blocks and 3 steals to boot.

Its still a complete crock that he didn't even make All-Big Ten defensive team.

I would not have expected a kid from Louisiana to actually hate Wisconsin after playing for Minnesota. But I don't get much exposure to Wisconsin fans ... from what I've seen, "dumb, obnoxious, and arrogant" seems to be a pretty good description, though.

You have to take a class freashman year: "Why we hate The Wisconsin Badgers". It's pretty easy but very informative.
 

You can test out of it though. Wouldn't you expect Buckeyes from far flung places to hate Michigan without much prompting?
 





In video games I can't be Wisconsin. NCAA football road to glory mode I got a starting offer from Wisconsin and I went to play 3rd string at Pit. It's a sickness...

Damian Johnson just became my favorite Gopher basketball player. Just passed Bobby Jackson and his over-the-calf tube socks.

If they're basketball players? I don't think they will really hate UM. UM isn't really a rival in basketball for OSU.
