Pretty light day for college basketball news, but some interesting nuggets nonetheless:
Matt Painter was interviewed about his Purdue team and although many of the answers were pretty boiler plate, I thought the health of Robbie Hummel, the legal issues of Lewis Jackson, and Painter’s recruiting of Branden Dawson were interesting tidbits:

I’m not sure if you know Pierre Henderson-Niles, but he was the rotund big man who played a few minutes in the national championship game for Memphis a couple years ago. It’ll be interesting to see how the weight loss translates to his on-court success this season:
