Andy Katz delivers wonderful news on BYU coach Dave Rose. Hopefully the positive prognoses continue for this man who sounds like one of the class coaches in the game:

Gary Parrish profiles Texas freshman Avery Bradley, who intrigues me as much as any of the freshman this season not named John Wall. I love reading about this kid’s desire for defense:

I have quite a few issues with this list (where are names such as Scottie Reynolds, Talor Battle, and Isiah Thomas?), but I think it does speak to the talent vacuum that left the college game at the point guard position:
