Cory Joseph has set up some in-home visits and Minnesota is not yet on that list:

Andy Katz takes a lengthy look at Seton Hall, which should be an interesting team to follow this season with their influx of interesting (both talent and off-court issues-wise) transfers. Particularly interesting for Gopher fans is that it appears Seton Hall might be on the non-conference schedule in 2010-11 (halfway down the column). Also, at the very end of the column, Katz talks about Miami where some intriguing freshmen have arrived on campus:

UMHoops handicaps the Big Ten POY race and it should come as no surprise that there aren’t any Gophers within sniffing distance. An interesting tidbit for Gopher fans is in the comments section at the very end of the column; the third post in talks about Trey Ziegler’s recruitment and how it appears Minnesota is one of three finalists (for what it’s worth):

Jeff Goodman presents his preseason All-American lists all the way down to a 5th team. I could pick quite a few bones with this list (Derrick Favors over Cole Aldrich for 1st team? Evan Turner on the 5th team, after Kenny Boynton and Kemba Walker?), but at this point, why get too worked over it?

Seton Hall

That's great news if Seton Hall is on the Gophers' schedule next season. I hope it's part of a home-and-home.

Wasn't it reported some time ago that the Gophers will be in the Pardise Jam next season, then the Maui in 2011-12? Perhaps Gonzalez was just mentioning some of the teams slated for the Paradise Jam?

I'll wait til he comes for a visit before I get too excited, but the news on ziegler is fantastic if true.

Also, he may be an ass, but there's little doubt in my mind that Turner is the best player in the Big 10. Him being 5th team (especially considering a lot of the guys that he is behind) is preposterous.

Gophers are going to Puerto Rico next year, not Paradise Jam in Virgin Islands. So, if Seton Hall is on the schedule it almost has to be a home-and-home.

I think Maui is 2013-14.

Seton Hall landed a NMSU transfer who I think should be eligible starting this year (if he kept his stuff together) by the name of Herb Pope. I saw this kid play a few times over the boarder from in Western PA. This kid can play, but personal issues has been his downfall.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cory thinks he and his family already know Tubby well enough that an in-home visit isn't necessary.
