Demry!!! BIG10 Offensive Player of the Week.

Suck it all you haters

Ha, I actually had the same thought in my mind today...that's how PJ opens the post game press conference after the Wisconsin game.

That's a good Toby Keith song, but this is more my style:

Even though Keith wrote the song, that's the best version of it. The Heavy is a great band. They were at 1st Avenue last September. Watched it live online.

That song is a solid choice for yesterday's game. That was a great game for the Gophers and a great performance by Demry. We saw that one in person.

Go Gophers.

They are one of many indie bands that deserve more attention than they are getting. I would love to see them live.

Have followed them some since they were on David Letterman's show. They were great and Letterman, Shaffer and the band loved them. They are big in Great Britain and do well in Continental Europe, just haven't been able to translate that here.

As good as Croft was yesterday I would give POTW to the entire OL for yesterday's effort. No matter who got the ball the holes were staggering for facing Nebraska.

Right. But Croft showed what he could do - and he'll only get better, especially as a passer. He could nail down the job for next year if he keeps working this hard.

Croft throws a great ball most of the time, hits guys in stride regularly, and shows touch most of the time. More experience is all he needs, imo.

He definitely has not been helped out by his receivers many times this season with all the dropped balls. Even with the great effort on Saturday I still think he has a ways to go as a QB at this level. Maybe he gets there with time or maybe the staff can find/develop someone better and he can serve as a backup.

Northwestern's defense is nothing special but unfortunately they seem to be very good against he run and really struggle against the pass, so they are the reverse of what our offense has been good at to this point.

I wish I still had my Zubaz and acid washed jeans after watching that. Well done.

The 80s -what a time to be alive. I hope the Gophs will do something like this when we make it to the Rose Bowl. White boys trying to dance, guy banging the cowbell, bongos - perfect.

I'd post El Gasolino's Berengeur Boogie but it's so bad I can't do it.

"I didn't come here to start no trouble. I just came here to do the row-the-boat shuffle!";)
