It is being reported by both Scout (Dave Telep - see below link)) and the Kansas Rivals guy (link in original post). Sounds like Paige finally got the offer he was looking for. I will be very surprised if he is not a Jayhawk.

Nope. Per Plinnius' standards, I don't believe an offer was real unless I was in the room and saw the coach personally handing a written scholarship offer to the player.
What?
I don't think he ever committed to USC. When he committed to us, he had just taken an official visit to San Diego State, was planning a visit to Iowa, was waiting on an offer from Cal, and labeled those three schools, along with the Gophers, as his top four. That's according to a Rivals article a week before he committed.
Never visited Florida, never had an offer.
They didn't.
No, it doesn't clear anything up. I'm saying he didn't have any of those offers when he committed to us.
I wasn't being sarcastic. He really didn't have those offers. I'm fairly certain that Minnesota was his only offer.
How do you know that?
I don't think he had all those offers.
How many of those were real offers?
It's quite annoying, as (unless you are some type of soothsayer) you have no way of knowing the authenticity anymore than any other average schlub.
So what you're saying is that a Texas fan wouldn't know if Texas actually offered Devoe Joseph but a Gopher fan would?
Are you omniscient?
No. Am I to believe that the likes of yourself, Gold Vision, and FOT are?
No. Am I to believe that the likes of yourself, Gold Vision, and FOT are?
Nope. But you are clearly right about every single prospect's offer list. So you know more about recruiting and the unique situation of every single Gophers' prospect (both football and basketball) more than any other poster here, and the players themselves?
There are three possibilities:
1) You are omniscient
2) Every recruit to sign a scholarship offer ever is lying about their offer lists
3) You don't know more than anyone else about recruits' offer lists and yet have a strange false sense of superiority about it.
"What is 3), Alex?"
4) Sound logic and reasoning
Example: To my knowledge, Joseph never claimed an offer from Texas. Joseph never visited Texas. Texas fans, the ones that have actually heard of Joseph, dispute that Texas ever actually offered Joseph.
From that evidence, I infer that Joseph never received an offer from Texas.

whatever, if we land tharpe he prolly wouldnt have commited anyways. Plus we can get chambers if we want and i think we will.
Why do you put more stock in what fans say than what recruiting services and the players themselves say?
Do you automatically assume that players always lie?
Clearly, fans of a program have no incentive to lie about things like this. Nope, none at all.
Where do you suppose the fans get their info from? Their own recruiting sites!
who gives a s**t?!
why not? he is years ahead of most pgs his age, he is rated a 4 star prospect by rivals, at pulley he led the team better than just about anyone not named el amin. and he hasnt even played in his junior year. dont right him off so quickly, he is almost the same size as naadir tharpe.
