Cretin's not a top-ten team right now, but they will have thousands of fans in the stands, and the out-state viewer is going to be primarily concerned with watching Jashon. EP and Wayzata seem to be a bit down on the high-end talent. If we're going to be concerned with showcasing the state's best teams they should try to match up the Minnesota state champ with the Wisconsin or Iowa champ.CDH was on ESPN (I think it was ESPN but perhaps it was a regional channel when they played in Louisiana a few years back). "Once in a lifetime" indeed.
If they are going to pick a game from MN, I get it they want to show their own #1 rated recruit but to make MN football look better, I'd rather it be one of those games with thousands of fans in the stands with schools like Eden Prairie, Wayzata, Minnetonka, etc.

They put in some premium seats they call a "veranda" on the east side. Don't know if they'll allow anyone to sit there Friday. The problem with broadcasting from UST is that it is a one sided stadium. It seats 5,000, all on the west side of the stadium.

Shouldn't be a problem based upon being able to get seats when Seantrel was #1 and Cretin had a better team.I'm planning on getting out there tonight to see him. Should be a good atmosphere. Is this going to be a Tyus Jones like experience where I need to get there an hour early or will showing up at 6:45 be sufficient enough to get two seats?
I don't think they have a Ben Lauer on either of those teams this year. Maybe somebody will come on during this season and get some better offers, Hovey and Robert Olson from EP, and Greeley/Brandon Lingen from Wayzata. They certainly are deep teams.A comment on EP and Wayzata talent not being "high end". Those programs are so deep they don't rely on one guy. I think they have gems every year, but probably don't get noticed. Ben Lauer is a great example, Kill loves him and he is moving up the depth chart. He wasn't a high end recruit, yet contributed to Wayzata's great results.
Well, the broadcast is much better than AggieVision...
They just said there was someone running on the field. Where is @Vodka_Samm?
Cornell did have 8 or so tackles, one or two for a loss, and a forced fumble. Not a bad game for him, for his team on the other hand..
I watched the entire game.. all im saying is I expected a lot more from the number 1 recruit in the nation...
