Seems like every year at least a couple times during a season we get requests as to what to do in the Huntington Bank area. The faithful folks then offer suggestions which is fine but seems to be in redundant as to the responses. Why can't a permanent "section" be made on Gopherhole to offer suggestions as to light rail, places to go to as far as entertainment, food etc.

You could split it up as to hotels, transportations, parking, eat/drink, things to do, along with other areas of interest that fans have. By doing this, you could have comments mentioned as to why a particular place is recommended such as describing Malcom yards and or providing a link for more information.

By going into detail, you offer fans much information that would be greatly appreciated by our visiting fans. This would be a Chamber of Commerce type permanent spot. Off hand, without discussion, it would not be a place where people could comment etc.

Thoughts?

Makes complete sense however I do believe posters that participate in these visitor threads are doing so with good cheer and good hearts. Plus whatever gets provided is typically right up to date as whats hot or trendy or traditional does tend to change.

Since the Billds are pretty boring, just offering a thought but no real opinion. Before each game we find a spot at the Tribal Nations Plaza, enjoy a carried bite and libation, and just fan watch and engage some enemy passers-by until time to go in. Usually have to knock off the moss that grew in that time on my shoes but just fine.

Likely it's up to GopherLady because I believe she calls the shots. I guess the bumper sticker would read...What would GopherLady do?

BildGopher one thing I thought of later was that they could charge to be on the site as it is advertising. Couple different tiers. Description plus a link, or simply a name of an establishment. I'll let the GopherHole ownership weigh in on this.
