Crean: Tubby Smith is one of the very best coaches in the country and people.

Minnesota is a tough-minded team

Obviously Tom has not watched a lot of gopher games this year, considering that is the team's biggest weakness.

"This message is hidden because gopherinpain is on your ignore list."

So nice to read.

I think Crean is a classy guy.

We're gonna get him tomorrow though.

IU on the road is nothing close to IU at home, and we already handled them there.

do his former Marquette players and recruits view him as classy? I think his contract that he had there ran through 2014 before he bailed on them for the IU job

It ran through 2017. And they found out by watching ESPN. You can probably figure out how some of the guys who were in the program at that time feel.

Oh no a coach got an offer he felt he couldn't refuse and left without his contract being ended! Crucify him! (BTW - Dwayne Wade still supports him I believe, only former player I've heard mention it)

Awful similar to a line by pat fitz about brew weeks before his demise.

First, if you want to rip Crean for leaving Marquette when he still had time on his contract, also remember that Tubby had a valid contract at Kentucky when he left for Minnesota.

Also, all of these coaches talking about how great of a guy/coach/etc., that Tubby is reminds me of when Monson was here. Everybody talked about how great of a guy he is. Every Big Ten coach likes coaches they feel like they can beat.

He's full of it. What's he going to say? We beat a bad team that has quit. And the coach is just coasting along collecting his money. Guess he could add the Gopher's coaching staff is the worst in the Big Ten.
