Crazy: TikTok account who identifies obscure sporting events in movies and TV shows.

One of those things you didn't know you needed.

Wonder if any MN teams have been captured in the background of films or TV.

Any Lost freaks able to answer this question: was that particular match on the TV, at all relevant to whatever plot line was happening on that episode of the show? Wild guessing not, but just wondering.

Probably more like they were trying to go for a 1990's-ish setting and just threw on some tape of a 1990's era soccer match. Not sure why someone on the production would have this particular tape of this particular game, but wild guessing something as simple as that is how they "chose" that game.

On the TV series Coach they occasionally used Gopher game footage (with the color adjusted to make the maroon look purple) to substitute for the Minnesota State Screaming Eagles. And in Fargo Wade is watching a Gopher-Badger hockey game.

A few good men…
The goof in that clip was, even though is should have been the Baltimore Orioles audio of the game, it was obviously Twins announcer Ted Robinson's voice heard in the clip. It was Baltimore ending the Twins 15 game winning streak.

Usually against Wisconsin too. When they won the national championship it was over something like West Texas Wildcats or something ridiculous like that to justify the W.
