... be our Shabbaz Napier next year?

If he became more of a "me first" shooter. Maybe, but Dre Mathieu won't be the problem next year.

I could see Pitino working with him and becoming more of a scorer next year. Who knows

I can see him shooting a little more next year. But I'd be fine with a season like this year again. A guard shooting over 50% from the field while averaging 10+ points a game is very good. The next highest was Bertrand at Illinois at 48%.

He'll have to keep working on his outside shot. I know he shot well this year, but he really only shot when he was wide open. If he improves his shooting and becomes more confident from outside, he can become a really good scorer.

He needs to be more decisive on when to take a jumper and when to drive. Seemed like half the time he tried to drive it resulted into a turnover, when he could have just taken a wide open jumper. A lot of his turnovers where in transition when he was in a 1 on 3 situation trying to get to the hoop. Would like to see him kick that out or just pull it back out when he is out numbered like that. Hopefully
Another year of experience will help.

I can see that. He was such a surprise this year, no reason he won't be that much better next year.

I don't know, but I'm excited for a healthy little Dre/big Dre senior backcourt next year.

Lil Dre is as talented as a 5'9" player can be, but he is giving up a solid 3 inches to Napier and Napier is probably just as quick.
