Coordinators?

Anyone know if there has been any interest put into sitting big time BCS coordinators? I thought about that when listening to MV's last podcast.

Has the U talked to somebody like Gus Malzahn, or one of Bama's coordinators?

I just e-mailed Maturi about this topic. I hope other fans follow suit.

Maturi still saying nothing is settled, all options open, etc., so maybe they are looking at some coordinators. Brent Venables would certainly be an interesting candidate. Most of us, though, are hoping for a head coach with a winning record, preferably not a rookie with one or two good seasons. We may not get our wish.

I agree with you Great Plains. I would prefer a tier one head coach--Harbaugh, Bellotti, Mullen, Stoops,

However, if for some unknown reason Maturi can't talk one of those guys into it, I would rather have a top notch coordinator from a BCS title contender than a head coach from non-BCF conference.

Malzahn is the most appealing coordinator to me.

Kirby smart I would love if we were at a school that could recruit elite CBs. His defense would not work without them.
