Connelly adjusted some rosters with transfers. Wisconsin went from 25 to 19 in this update...Gophers SP+ number is 12.0; Badgers is 15.8...so with Gopher homefield of abt 3 points, Wisconsin game basically a push.

UNC number is 13.5, so with Chapel Hill homefield, figure TarHeels by 4.5.

Iowa number is 13.2 so in Iowa City, Hawks by 4.2.

OSU and MIch both look like 2TD favorites.

SP has Gophers a TD better or more in rest of games

Wisconsin has a lot of returning production with workhorses Allen and Melluzi both returning and transfer QB Mordecai bringing in a lot of production from SMU...defense

Gophers lose most of offensive production with Mo, Potts and Tanner plus some from Michael BrownStephens #3 WR and Dylan Wright #4 WR. Gophers lose ton of production from SoriMarin (#1 in tackles) and Howden (#3 in tackles) plus Smith (6), Rush (8), Oliver (9), Bishop (10)

Connelly says the large transfer portal numbers in and out makes the math model a lot harder.

I expect the Gophs to be as good or better offensively. I see the defense as a push, so likely the same as last year. I think Lindenberg is better than MSM. From the Spring practices they have some very nice edge rushers as well.

The big unknown is the gophers OL. The guys have been in the program awhile but as far as starts and game experience they are the least experienced in the Big Ten
