I just wanted to stop by and tell you all congrats. I have thought this all year, but your team has way to much talent to not be in the top 2 or 3 of the Big Ten imo. Yeah, it sucks that you all played up to that level last night lol. But, i am actually happy if we lost it was to you all. I first came to this board before the first game between us, and have kept an eye on the chatter since. You all are good fans, and deserve a win like this, and for the team to play up to its expectations. Good luck the rest of that year, and hopefully you're team continues to play like this down the road.

Thanks Jace man. Both games these teams played were very entertaining. I like that Indiana pushes the ball and score points (unlike the Badger state to our East).

I sat in suite last night (not a normal thing for a guy like me) and Cody Zeller's uncle was also a guest in the suite. It was interesting talking with him before the game. I learned that Zellers moved around a ton (Turkey business) and Cody was actually born in Mn, but they kept moving. Papa Zeller went to Iowa State, but apparently none of the boys wanted to be Cyclones.

Thanks for the post. For the most part, we've played IU pretty well over the last number of years, including some big wins dating back to the epic come back in 1997 at IU, some big wins in the Monson era, Hoffarber's amazing shot in the BTT, last year's big upset and last night's historic win. Who knows why, but it's been a fun matchup.

Good luck the rest of the season.

Go Gophers!!

Really? That is all you came up with? I think it is funny to hear you say this about Indiana, but have no issue with the flop that you all had in the final few minutes. When Cody went in for a layup towards the end of the game, and the defender fell to the ground without being touched. Luckily for me....they still called a blocking foul...but he was never touched...it was a flop! The point is...its apart of the game, and until the NCAA does something about flopping, it will continue to happen.

I completely agree, and if im being honest...i hate playing you guys! It always amazes me that one team can win by 20 or 30 points the first meeting, but lose the next one. I love the barn, but i hate seeing Indiana playing in it!

Flopping aside, IU is still a team I'll be rooting for in the Tournament. I think they have good balance and fun-to-watch players. It's been too long since the conference has had a national champion.

Trying to draw a charge is a part of the game. Faking a head injury to get a player ejected is not part of the game, just like pretending to get punched in the groin to get a player ejected is not part of the game.

Yes, that HEShe play was really annoying. Smart but annoying kind of like the Yankees' Jeter. We were joking that HeShe's parents should have given him an androgenous name like Pat or Terri or Lonnie.

Man, I love what Watford, Oladipo, and Hulls bring from a smarts and shooting perspective.

Thanks for stopping by Hoosier fan! We will all compare notes after the NCAA tourney! Go Gophers!

Thanks a lot, Jace. I respect the hell out of Indiana fans as well. Both teams have gone through a lot in the last couple of years. I'll be rooting on the Gophers first, and Indiana second, in the Dance. Best of luck with the rest of the season, and thanks for swinging over here to post...the word that comes to mind after reading your post is honor.

There were quite a few Hoosier fans in the upper West end of the arena (a couple of cute ones!!) and they made some noise during a few parts of the game.
