I am coming up from St. Louis for the Penn State game. First game at TCF Stadium since the first season. Also attending the BB game against Lehigh.

Looking forward to a Gopher victory.
 


I'm also doing the doubleheader this weekend, coming up from NOLA.

Only my second home game this season, well behind my normal pace. The first game was Iowa, so I'll shoulder the blame if Penn State wins. The Gophers are 4-0 this season at TCF without me....but I carry good karma on the road, where the Gophers are 0-1 without me (Michigan) but 3-0 with me.
 

The Gopher AD has FINALLY scheduled a hoops/football doubleheader weekend. I can't remember when the last one was but I know it has been long overdue.

Mrs Bayfield and I will start off the weekend Friday afternoon at New Bohemia http://www.newbohemiausa.com/bier/ to sample some great bier and wurst! Great place!! Then take the University Ave. bus #6 to the Barn and back for a victory bier or two.
 

Travelling up from Milwaukee on Friday morning. Me three on the hoops/gridiron double-header. Mix in tailgating in between and you've got a perfect trifecta weekend!

Glad to hear we've got some folks making the trek to the game. Gonna be a great weekend, weather be dammed.

Thanks to all of the support from my friends at the Gopher hole it looks like my wife is in strong second for the military appreciation photo contest and we will be flying from San Diego with my 5 month old for the game. Third time at TCF for me, second for the wife, and first for the little one. Can't wait!
On a side note, my mother-in-law was just at Gold Country picking us up some warm weather gear (don't need it in San Diego) and they offered her 2 free tickets to the game.
On a side side note, I found out yesterday that Limegrover's best friend lives down the street from me! Ski U Mah!

quick jaunt over to gophersports.com shows that they are pretty well filled up in the lower bowl with the upper still having some work to do. its starting to get there though.

I counted the "pick your own seats" available on Gophersports.com. According to the map, there are only 17 singles available in the lower level (only six sections aren't blacked out). In the upper level, there are 2,586 seats available, 201 of which are singles.

I am willing to bet there will be a big walk up because people think tickets are easy to get.
