Charles Barkley's Golf Swing.

He has completely lost confidence offensively. Teams don't even have to guard him and can double Ralph or TM inside. IMO, his lack of production is just a big a factor in the teams demise as Nolan/Joseph's absence. I feel bad for the kid, the effort is there but he can't score other than a dunk or foul. You look back at games when he was effective we rarely lose.

If he shot just 40% from 2-10 feet this team would have won a minimum of 3 more games.

Iverson

I agree %100. The effort is there but my gosh, I don't think he's made a single jump hook in weeks. In addition I think there were some times when he got decent position down low and our perimiter players didn't through it in to him. Apparently he's not the only who's lost confidence in his game.

Colton Stats

The first 21 games he was 49 of 98 from the field; 50%.

Last 7 games 5 of 23 for 22%; 6 out of 7 losses. Brutal.

His court awareness is and has always been poor. Someone has too work on footwork with him. He had a play in which all he had to do was drop set into the lane and dunk yesterday. Instead he turned the wrong way and missed the shot.

Most of the time his footwork isn't that bad but he gets so off balance it makes most shots difficult.

Why do you think he gets so off balance...
He has failed to develop any post game at all and that's all footwork. I know it's not his game 3 years into it but it sad to see a guy of his size not have any kind of post-game.

Is he afraid of being aggressive in the post and getting whistled?

I really think Iverson is better than what he's shown this year. I don't know if it's mental or what, but Iverson has shown the ability to put a bevy of solid moves together. It just goes in waves. I remember last year, people were ready to send him off to SDSU, then look what happened in the Big 10 Tourney; he looked like an All-Conference type player for 2-3 games in a row.

He rushes too much, bad footwork, off balance-can't play a lick on offense D-2 talent

Inconsistency, lack of confidence, and a lack of touch around the basket = disappointing offensive output

People who accuse Ralph of being passive on offense haven't watched Colton closely enough. He fades on every single shot.

I can't believe how he can consistantly choke on that little hook shot. He hits the front of the rim every time.
