I hated to see Colt leave, but have you ever seen a worse finisher? He was not going to start, and would lose minutes to EE. He made a difficult and unusual decision by transferring after his junior year. Believe his father had a cup of coffee in the pros and I can't blame him for following the dream. He picked a good program and a good coach he knew, with a position of need. I can't blame him or Tubby for this.
I have. On the Gophers. His name was Miles Tarver. The guy blew just about every layup after a nice pass for most of his career. He hit the offensive boards like a beast, but would routinely fail to finish. I found these stats:http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/player/minnesota/miles-tarver . I liked Miles but his effective field goal percentage was never better than 43% as a power forward. Top 10 in the conference in rebounds per game as a JR and top 5 in the conference in rebounds per game as a SR despite only playing about 26 1/2 minutes a game.

I can't help but feel the "problems" Tubby claimed Colten had were really problems with the circus environment with the team. Two players held out for criminal charges. A pot head point guard. etc.. Not blaming Tubby only for the circus, but you can't blame the kid for wanting out.
Remember that last year? Common on KFAN had a bet he would have more fouls than points. It was close, but I believe Tarver won the bet.I have. On the Gophers. His name was Miles Tarver.
