Has someone circulated a memo to the B10 referees about Colton and fouls? I swear that any time there is a questionable call they single out Colton for the foul...and give him zero benefit of the doubt on any call. I guess you have to earn respect, but this seems a little absurd.

It does seem a little strange. I liked how Kramer was pushing Iverson in the back every time he caught the ball, but when he flops they call a foul on Colton.

Iverson has been called for ticky-tack fouls since he arrived last season. He is never allowed to play defense the way they allow Big 12, Big East, SEC, or ACC big men play. Purdue has been getting away with murder down low all night just like MSU does.

Hightower is the biggest idiot I have ever seen. That was the worst screwing of an out-of-bounds call, ever.

Iverson was just pulled down from behind after he was hit going up for the shot and no foul on either Purdue player. Johnson put in the rebound and was fouled for the 3rd Purdue foul in less than 3 seconds. Only one was called though.

I thought the refs were fair. But that is the problem. We only needed a couple 'home-cooking' calls and we win the game. Unbelievable.

The Kramer flop should have been a no-call, ESPECIALLY at home.

Iverson

Maybe he should not make an expression when these bad calls happen. Or call them borderline calls, that ALWAYS go against him. It's worth a try.

That was a horrible call.

Having to earn respect with calls is exactly why I hate ref's.

Just make the call without analyzing this and that and we won't have as many problems with the officiating.

on the Kramer flop:

A "big" should know to just turn and go straight up when the shoving from behind has stopped..

where did he think Kramer went? of course it's a setup.

this is 'big' lesson #1.

Despite some opinions on here, I think CI played a pretty decent game. He hustled his tail off all over the court, came up with some big rebounds, and was a physical presence.

He's still growing, learning, and getting better.

I agree with SGL... Colt is not getting the calls, but that's going to happen when your big, white and look clumsy. An example would be; most jump stops are traveling, but if you can make it look good you'll get away with it every time. Iverson's just needs to work on his footwork this off-season, he had some nice kick-out passes when I thought he should turned and went up with it... and Westbrook didn't pull the trigger wide open???
