College Football News Ranking Week 6: MN at No. 43

The three teams just ahead of us (MI, IA, MSU) all look vulnerable and ordinary to my eyes, especially after yesterday's games.

If the Gophers take care of the next three opponents, imagine what the Penn State game is going to be like.

As a long time Gopher fan, I am quietly tempering my excitement this season and hoping that this is the year! This is the most entertaining season ever.

If the team stays healthy, I am counting on some upsets. PJ's pep talk will energize the team into a frenzy.

Id agree w assessment of MI but not so much on MSU & IA. MI won a must win against IA yesterday otherwise there would have been blood in Ann Arbor.

Iowa looked absolutely awful on offense. Stanley was sacked and pressured constantly and they couldn't run the ball a lick.

MSU played OSU, so that's a tough draw, but Sparty certainly didn't impress. The Gophers looked better against the Buckeyes last season than Michigan State did yesterday.

Curious why Iowa would be so high. They won El Assico by a point against 3-2 Iowa State and other than that, have wins over three of the crappiest teams in FBS -- Miami (OH), Rutgers, and Middle TN
