Coleman's game was rescheduled to Feb 10th, 2011

The individual conference sites (like lakeconference.org) are the best for schedules since they're usually kept up to date. Minnesota Scores and Minnesota Sports Online are the same database and are well maintained. MaxPreps isn't used locally like it once was a couple of years ago.

..and White Station is going up against Findlay Prep (THAT Findlay - NV), who is stacked ridiculously. They should roll on White Station.

Game Streaming?

Looks like the game will be available for streaming. White Station's score is posted but Findlay Prep's is not (or Finlay - see it spelled both ways often but their website uses Findlay).

Edit: Updated score 70-65 Findlay Prep won (not too bad for White Station)

im watching this game, andre looks damn good on both sides of the ball. hopefully coleman will be just as good when he sets foot on the court freshman year.

Is that Boxscore right? A bunch of twitter folks say he scored 46 tonight.

MemphisRoar:
ANDRE BOONE HOLLINS!!! Finished tonight against Findlay Prep with 46 POINTS! 4----6!!! Spartans fall by four.

This is the link I got it from. It might be that they do a cut and paste and have old numbers from a different game. Yep those are the same numbers from when they lost to Central. Guessing score is right other stats wrong.

Wow what a great pick up by Tubby. This is a kid who will no doubt be a fan favorite. By all accounts one of the most personable and intelligent kids out there and if he has game like that watch out.

So he did score 46? White Station must be pretty damn good to beat the number 1 ranked team and only lose by 1 to Findlay Prep

Hollins had 46 points in loss to Findlay Prep

Andre Hollins had a growth spurt this summer. He’s still listed as 6-3, but his shoulders are now big enough to carry his White Station team – with ease.

National power Findlay Prep of Las Vegas will attest to Hollins’ abilities, surviving his career-best 46-point explosion for a 70-65 decision over the Spartans Thursday night in the Classic at Lausanne Collegiate School.

“He is one of the best four players this program has ever faced, and I’d compare him to one of our best in Avery Bradley, who’s now with the Boston Celtics,” said Findlay coach Michael Peck, whose team was ranked first in the ESPN preseason prep poll, and is ranked fifth in Maxpreps and Rivals’ rankings. “Hollins moved, hesitated, got himself open for his shot – and from 8-15 feet, he was money all night. If he’s not considered Top 10 nationally now, he will be.”

Minnesota-bound Hollins said, “about the middle of the first quarter, I felt like I could get my shot when I wanted, and it was a matter of just keeping it up.”

By halftime he had 18 points, but Findlay (9-1) had a 41-32 lead with four players scoring 7-8 points apiece, and an endless supply of clinic-grade passes to back-door cutters.

In the second half, White Station adjusted its zone defense, Hollins said. “We worked to keep their guards on the wing and away from the lane where they were getting those passing opportunities.”

Freshman Leron Black said the front line “did a better job of watching the back door.”

Peck said his team stopped looking for that last pass as the zone tightened. “It’s a little like a child who knows he can drink from a cup, but he likes that bottle and wants to hold onto it. Our guys started holding onto the ball rather than trusting themselves to that pass.”

Where the Pilots had been getting easy baskets, they were suddenly collecting charging fouls and turnovers. And they were having even more trouble with Hollins, who scored 12 of the Spartans’ 17 points in the third quarter, and 16 of 17 in the final period.

Is he playing the 2 Guard position? I have seen both. He was going to be moved to PG this year - and also I have seen that he is still the 2G.

I guess it doesn't matter as long as he scores 46.

So, maybe Jesperson choosing Virginia wasn't so bad?

Holy crap. I've been a huge Hollins fan...but this is just incredible. Well done Andre! Look forward to seeing you as a Goph!

Impressive game by Hollins. He's averaging over 30 ppg this season.

yea i watched the first quarter and thought theres no way he only had 17 points unless he scored them all in the first quarter and never scored again. I saw him playing pg in the video, handles the ball well, lightening quick, plays good D. only problem is his court vision isnt as good as nolens, but itll get there. This kid was a steal keep it up russel westbrook, i mean andre hollins

We'll have up the full game video from last night sometime later today, so I'll link it for you guys/gals to be able to watch it when we do. Anyone who follows us knows that we think the world of Hollins.

He did finish with 46 last night. That other box score was off. He was unguardable. Made Texas commit Myck Kabango look silly at times. He also had 33 against top 100 G (Auburn commit) Ced McAfee of Melrose, who is also ranked in the top 10 nationally.

The kid is a baller. Minnesota got a good one.

This threat made my morning. I cannot wait to see Andre next year. Looks like we landed a diamond in the rough. Next up, adding more front court depth for the future...

rr- Later in the article he says (I paraphrase) he's playing the pg position - but that he's still get used to it and that other team mates will step up over time (to take more of the scoring load I assume).

This is great news.

Field goals, attempted, 3's, ft's?

Thanks for the good news. I'm curious, has he really just started to play a lot better this year? I remember someone else saying that he was great his sophomore year but disappointing last year. Is that why he didn't have a better list of offers? Was Memphis ever very interested in him?

Ohio State is loading up again and Indiana is adding some talent. I do think the Gophers added two excellent players in this years class and I think both will outperform some if not many of the players listed ahead of them. Andre's recent games may move him up the list and I think Joe will have a big year as well.
