We have been through a series of major coaching changes in the last 4 years or more! Everybody has mentioned that consistency in the OC would help the team. More people than not seem to think the current offense is the system we want. The DC seems to have improved the team last year and game over game seems to have improved the defense since USD. Do we really need a change of HC with a completely new staff (you know that will most likely happen) or is it better that we stay with the current leadership, including Brewster? I am leaning keep them all.

A coach can protect himself by firing assistants, but that only works for a while. I think we are past that point.

I actually like several of the assistants, and hope they stay...regardless of what
happens at the top.

When a HC is changed, oftentimes assistants are kept for the new regime- they're
given a chance to interview. What happened with Brewster when he first took
over happens SOMETIMES, but not all the time.

How would the Gophers look today if Brew had kept Browning and Shaw, and maybe a couple
of others? What if he had kept the same offense, and put his resources and energy into
recruiting and defense? We would have won Saturday.
