Coaches and the QBs

Hard loss but yet one expected. Still I have to wonder.

Second last drive, Gophers put in Q and pass 2 out 3 times. Why? If that is the plan put in Nelson.

Our final drive (with score tied), coaches put in Nelson. Why not just put in Q and run three read/options and hope for a first down?

Seems like they don't know their QBs.

Would you have been okay if they passed with Nelson 2 of 3 plays? If so, that doesn't make sense as Gray has the better completion percentage of the two this year and in their career.

The argument should be why pass 2 of 3 plays in that situation regardless who the QB is. I still don't think they were terrible play calls. We just didn't execute.
