This is an important time for the U. Our Volleyball coach is stepping down, and decisions need to be made on Borton, Lucia, and the Golf situation. Timing looks bad as Maturi will still be the one making the decisions. I think he got us an excellent football coach, hopefully he can do the same with the other sports.

Maturi is the guy to do it. By the time he retires Gopher sports are going to be in their best shape in many years. Every Gopher fan will owe a debt of gratitude to Joel for what he has accomplished as AD.
 


The volleyball coach is retiring from a program that has been doing very well. The U will have its pick among good coaches. For VB, it's one of the more desirable jobs out there.
