Coach on the Rise: Jerry Kill, Minnesota. Three-year growth chart from 3-9 to 6-7 to 8-5, and last year Gophers had their first .500 Big Ten record since 2005. Kill has a tough schedule but a veteran team returning. September road games against TCU and Michigan, plus season-ending trips to Nebraska and Wisconsin, could determine whether Minnesota continues its upward trajectory.
