Does anyone know where I can get an e-mail or writing address for the Coach. I want to write him a letter/e-mail, I have an idea that I think could bring the team together and I want to offer some encouragement. Like many on here, I respect the man, maybe not the win loss record right now but I do respect the athletes and the program. I will not be using it as an angry fan to bash him. I e-mailed the Athletic Department asking for it a couple of weeks ago but they have not gotten back to me, apparently they don't need any support or encouragement over there. Damn, I'm starting to sound like Sid.

I dont blame them for not giving out his contact info to ANYONE that doesn't need it for professional reasons.
If you really have a good idea email maturi your idea and ask him to pass it along to Brewster. That would be your best bet since Maturi actually responds to every email.
 

[email protected]. But the poor guy is probably inundated wirth angry emails - no wonder they won't give it out. I'm not bothering him, but did tap Maturi and President Bruininks.

That email above is correct and he does respond to it. Maturi's email is [email protected].

For postal mail I just send it to the athletic department ATTN Brewster. He hasn't responded to my care package yet though:

What would be really cool is if the University had a website.

And then, what would be even cooler is if they had a searchable directory where they keep all the contact info for every staff, student (and in some cases, alumni) associated with the University.

And then, what would be even cooler still is if Tim Brewster had a listing that gave his title, e-mail address, physical address, mailing address, and office phone number.

Can you imagine living in a world like that? That would be really sweet.

So today I sent my e-mail and the one to Brewster was returned undeliverable but Maturi did e-mail me back...does this seem odd that Brewster's e-mail address is no longer valid on the same day there are rumors he will be getting let go?

That is spooky, but given the U's Byzantine bureaucracy, I doubt they could nix anyone out of the system that quickly. My e-mail address at the U remained active for over a year after I finished grad school and stopped paying fees. There are probably dead people who have valid e-mail addresses ending in umn.edu.
