Gotta love it. Not gonna lie...I was waiting for them to fold and praying they didn't...never expected them to just take the game over and finish like they did. I'm sure Izzo is going to say some glowing things about us...and this time they will be true!

Andre was a stud at the point, Mbakwe played huge under the rim and Coleman had 3 blocks during that run...freaking awesome.

Now we need to take care of business against NW and then try and do something that is more rare than beating MSU...winning at IL!

While beating MSU is great. Beating the lower level teams that we are supposed to beat will determine whether or not we really make a significant push for the top of the B1G. Can't give the games like the one next Sunday away.

Agreed that we can not lay an egg next weekend. We can't afford to lose a game at home to a lower level B1G team and then hit a tough stretch in our schedule.

With that being said though I still think this game today showed us a lot about this team and I think they really are a different team then we are used to.

They held State to 2 points over the last 7:15 and shut them out the last 4:07. Wow.

I thought it was critical when the Gophers were down by 5 nearing the 8 minute media TO, that they beared down and kept it under a 2 posession game. Somehow, they flipped the switch and delivered KO punch.

I was waiting for the fold as well and just before half after we gave back the 12 pt lead, I thought, "yep, same *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#, different year". THIS is how you close out games and for the first time in MANY years, this team does NOT look rattled when they're down. Take care of the teams we should beat...were not going to run the table in the conference but can't get on ANY type of a losing streak either. Should be a fun year!
