The Wofford team and staff stayed on the court tonight while the Gophers were singing the Rouser with the crowd. I've never seen a team do that before.

It was a methodical win against an experienced team that will likely be in the Dance again. RS3 played well and I liked his aggressiveness on offense and Trevor is a beast on the boards. I was also impressed with Chip's aggressiveness on offense. He took an ill-advised three-pointer late in the game, but he's not afraid to put the ball on the floor and drive to the hoop. Early in the game he and Maverick had great ball movement on offense together.

It goes without saying, we're a much better team with Al on the floor.

We will lose a few games we shouldn't if we shoot FTs like we did tonight.

On to Sienna!

Go Gophers!!

Cam Rundles dream job is head basketball coach of Minnesota.

Maybe more than a few games Bleed - Again, not to continue to harp - but we have to shoot better from the FT line - if there's any chance of winning close games.

I listened to the Wofford feed and their announcers mentioned that they only had played 7 guys. Last year they played 10 according to their announcers, so I wonder if it was a struggle for their guys to play more minutes. Good to hear that Chip had the confidence to shoot, but that late 3 was ill advised as Bleed mentioned. If there is one place the Gophers could really miss Westbrook it's at the line. He was the guy who could go to the line and knock down crucial free throws for us last year.

Lets remember that Devoe will play this year and most likely, he will play a lot. Just not the first few games. He can knock down a free throw... perhaps not the Westy level, but decent.

That said, Mbakwe has never shot free throws well that I am aware of, so I am not expecting a sudden improvement. For the first game against a decent team, I'll take it. Get some more rust kicked off on Monday and lets roll in PR
