I know some get a kick out of and/or are perturbed by the fact that 8th graders get recruited... here's 10 year old Jaylin Fleming outta Chicago.. says they figured out he could ball when he first played with Maurice Acker a few years ago. Acker, who just finished his senior season at Marquette, is Jaylin's dad's godson...

The kid is a charmer and has some good people around him.. hopefully everything works out well for him and we see him having success at all the next levels.

These are the kind of stories that make me feel a little dirty for liking college basketball so much. The slimey part of big-time college hoops, for sure.
