Maybe coach has a bonus based on butts in seats, at the end of a game
 

The only thing I can say is that the team has to know he believes in them. Does that outweigh the looney calls (going for it on 4th down at midfield, going for two up 6 late, the end of the first half today)? I don't know. Today was the single worst coaching decision I have ever witnessed. Or was it?

If you're referring to Oregon State, we went for 2 up 7, where the potential 9 point lead makes it a two possession game and would probably almost guarantee a win.
