Lowery is an interesting story as he was THE hot mid-major coach 3-4 years ago and in fact he was mentioned on here by many (me included) as a guy we should look at after Monson was fired. Lowery stuck it out at SIU and now finds himself unemployed and a long way from a high major job which he definitely could have had if he had jumped a few years back.

Rumors now indicate that SIU will go after Bruce Weber should he lose his job this off-season.

Don't sweat it, Bleed, I liked Bobby Gonzalez for the Gophers job when Monson got fired, and he proceeded to flame out at Seton Hall
