Chris Halvorsen and Kendal Shell

Can someone tell me the status of these players? They are listed on the roster...

Halvorsen is sitting out a year due to transfer. I remember seeing him play against Royce White at Sibley. Is he a walk-on or scholarship player? Do we expect him to see action next year?

What about Shell? When I looked at the roster today, that's the first I have ever seen his name. Walk-on? Scholly? Action next year?
