You don't get many games in your life like this. Being there in the Barn as I have been for perhaps 700+ Gopher games, this one has to rank in the top 10 of all the games I have seen the Gophers play. A down and out team with so much potential that needed the game beating #1- that's what is so amazing about college buckets. Those last few minutes had to take a half hour it seemed. Then seeing the students rush the court with one of my sons being one of them - just unreal to see all that joy out there. They didn't hit their shots but they played with such effort led by Mbakwe. What a great win for Tubby, the players the Gopher program and the fans who all had this one coming. Enjoy it.

Absolutely agree!! So happy to have shared this with my buddies and my parents. Tonight absolutely ranked up there in my Top 5.

I didn't want to leave the building.
It wasn't pretty. It was kind of mucky and dirty. But that's the way it needed to be, and that's the way we'll remember it fondly. EE and Trevor scrapping and clawing for rebounds and loose balls. Dre missing and then making big shots. Missing free throws late but making just enough of them. More bad calls than there ought to be against the home team. In a nutshell, imperfectly perfect.
