per Shooter:
After making a 14-hour trip by car from the Twin Cities to Evanston, Ill., and back on Saturday to view his Gophers football's team's 20-17 victory over Northwestern, coach Jerry Kill went to his office Sunday to make telephone calls to recruits.
Kill, on leave from coaching while seeking to manage his epilepsy, probably will focus primarily on recruiting until he feels he's fit enough to return to the sideline for games.
As for recruiting, Claeys said of Kill's medical status with the team, "Everybody knows what condition he has -- we've been very open and honest with the recruiting. The better he feels, the more and more he'll do. The recruiting is part of it."
