Good news: It looks like Jeff Horton, the Gophers' interim coach who led the team to victories over bowl participants Illinois and Iowa the final two games of the season, will get an opportunity to remain on Kill's staff.
Horton, lunching at a St. Paul restaurant Saturday, then taking in the Bethel-St. Thomas Division III playoff game, was besieged by 100 or so well-wishers and fans thanking him for returning Floyd of Rosedale to Minnesota with the upset over Iowa.
