BOSTON UNIVERSITY Shocker... To bad he won't win crap in his career. But it's obvious that his academics are far more important than his basketball career. And good for him! It's refreshing and it should be that way. But, Tubby/Taylor's recruiting is pathetic, let's face it.

Uh, the guy can't be that good if he's going to Boston U. You don't really "lose" a guy that goes to Boston U. It's kind of like PSU "losing" that guy from Wisconsin who committed to Idaho State over them last week - so what? Not even worth complaining about. Guys who play for the Boston U's of the world are a dime a dozen.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't really want a guy on the team that would commit to Boston U. over Minnesota, Ok State, and Va Tech. If a kid doesn't want to play at a high major, I have a hard time seeing him succeeding at one (I am sure there have been exceptions). That doesn't excuse Tubby's recruiting, but I highly doubt anyone would have been jumping for joy over Hankerson (or Fuller).

But if we can't even land him?

I think you ought to tone down the criticism based on your limited experience in these things.

He's obviously a very smart kid, but must be like another Maverick Ahanmisi type player. Lol!

Boston U 75th percentile ACT 30 UofM. 29. More likely he preferred the campus and the chance to play right away rather than the academics.
