Just a fun FYI and link for the dreaded lull/middle of the work afternoon. Below is their current ranking of the B1G teams. They do a FULL ranking of all 128 FBS schools each week.

Michigan State - 10
Nebraska - 13
Ohio State - 21
Wisconsin - 22
Minnesota - 32
Maryland -37
Rutgers - 38
Iowa -40
Penn State - 45
Northwestern - 53
Indiana - 54
Illinois - 61

Obviously a "down year" for the B1G in terms of Top-10 teams and CFB playoff contenders, but the Big Ten has really bounced back from a slow start as a whole in the past few weeks. Key wins for Rutgers @ Navy, Maryland @ Syracuse, and Iowa @ Pittsburgh in the last few weeks. Eight teams in the Top 40 and eleven in the Top 55 doesn't exactly scream "down year" from a conference depth perspective.

Big Ten has the same problem it has had for a while, a whole bunch of decent teams with very few elite teams. You look at that crop in the back of the list and you see a whole bunch of teams that could all beat each other but none of whom are good enough to beat the top teams from other conferences. The parity in the conference is off the charts.
