This is the second Badger player attacked in Madison in the last couple of years.

According to a release put out by Wisconsin, the incident took place in Madison early Sunday morning with McEvoy suffering minor injuries, including cuts to his head. Wisconsin officials said his watch, iPhone and wallet were stolen.

Go Gophers!!

Did he start the fight like Ball did last year? Or was it Ball that did this?

Weird news. Cuts on his head? Must've been a beer bottle, right?

Or pushed through a window.

The little hamlet is starting to parallel the south side of Detroit. There have also been a lot of weird incidents reported in the last few years Wasn't one about a guy wacking off on his couch on a resident
sidewalk in front of his home?

Having lived in Madison for many years, this is not unusual. If you really want to see crazy....go to a small town in Wisconsin. That is really messed up.

it is unusual. now, if you're drunk and leaning against a tree trying to use yer iphone...well that would assist the reader. unusual would be people approaching a 6'6" sober guy. something made him appear to be a soft target.

Can you really call it a mugging when a guy wakes up on the steps of the capitol with empty pockets, a pounding headache, and an inflamed O-ring? I thought that was called Kinesiology class at the U of Wisconsin.

While I realize this isn't really funny, got to say its kinda funny.

Glad he is ok though.

I guess I don't mind this trend if they keep beating up their football players if there aren't any serious injuries.

Yep, I remember this story. If I remember right he was actually boning the cushions.

Didn't the perp move down to Arkansas a few months ago, though?
