These guys seem to put out a new mock draft every other day and they've been all over the place with Bateman, but the latest draft has both Gophers off the board within 3 rounds. Bateman is projected as the second pick in the second round to the Jets and St. Juste in the 3rd round, nine picks in to the Panthers.
Do you know the last year the Gophers had two players drafted in the first three rounds of the draft? It's hard to believe, but the year was 1978 when three linebackers, all Minnesota raised, were drafted in the second round (Mark Merrill, Michael Hunt, and Steve Stewart). 43 years ago.
