CBS: Six simple ways to fix and improve college football games

The biggest factor in extending games, is incomplete passes. It stops the clock. And it doesn't start again until its snapped. If you want to shorten games, watch the Gophers closely. They take every second off the clock they can. They pound the rock, which takes the incomplete pass out of the equation. And as the game wears on the opponent gives up, or gives in.

The idea of sideline, and goal line cameras is an excellent suggestion. The more cameras the better. Just get rid of the idea of overturning the call, or definite proof. Just get the call correct.

Who would actually benefit from an extra half hour? That's peanuts. Don't watch sports if 30 minutes is a big deal.
